Andrew Wilson is an Associate with JBA who has 15 years experience
as a professional town planner in consultancy, state and local governments.
He joined JBA in 1999 and has managed numerous projects in JBA including
the preparation of plans and reports for land use strategies, rezonings,
masterplans, major development applications, planning advices, and
Part 3A Major Projects.
Prior to joining JBA, Andrew worked with the then
Department of Urban Affairs and Planning (DUAP) for 5 years on various
policy and reform, strategic and statutory planning projects of
State and regional significance. Prior to DUAP, Andrew was employed
by Bega Valley Council as a Strategic Planner primarily preparing
land use strategies.
Andrew is a corporate member of the Planning Institute
of Australia and a certified practising planner (CPP). Over the
past 4 years he has sat on the Planning and Development Committee
of the Housing Industry Association.
Andrew is a graduate holding the Bachelor
of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New England.
He has continued his professional training and development by completing
a number of short courses and actively attending and participating
in seminars on a range of planning issues.
