As part of on-going
planning activities on the wider Moorebank Defence
site, Defence commissioned JBA to prepare a rezoning
submission for the Defence National Storage and
Distribution Centre (DNSDC). The new LEP prepared
by JBA introduces a Business Enterprise Park Zoning
for the DSNDC that is now used as a model for other
employment areas in Liverpool. JBA also prepared
a DCP for the site establishes development controls
as well as key character / theme elements for this
proposed high-tech business / industrial estate.
Following rezoning, the DNSDC sold in 2002 for a
record Australian price for industrial land.
