Project 28 Pty Ltd (part of the LEDA Group of companies) is proposing to develop land at Kings Forest within the Tweed Shire Council Local Government Area. The development will include 4500 residential dwellings, a new town centre, golf course, open space and bicycle and walking trails . In addition, approximately 336 hectares is to be conserved for environmental protection.
The NSW Department of Planning is exhibiting the Environmental Assessment for the project from 17 December 2008 until the 16 February 2009.
